The Orioles Bike Cage is a community bicycle shop in the West End of that most Canadian of Canadian cities - Winnipeg.

We are all-volunteer, and offer:

  • Tools and space to fix your bike
  • A stock of recycled bike frames and parts to build yourself a bike
  • Volunteers to help you with advice about your repairs or project
  • Recycled bicycles sold on a sliding scale
  • Periodic Bicycle repair workshops
  • Women Trans/Queer nights

We appreciate:

  • Donations of old bikes, bike parts, tools or money (pay-what-you-can for using the tools/space)
  • Volunteer time, either:
    • Helping others with bike questions
    • Tearing apart and building up bikes for the space
    • Helping with fundraisers
    • Working on the space
  • Or whatever…

We strive to:

  • Create a bicycle-friendly community where everyone has a reliable bike and the skills to maintain it
  • Share our knowledge of bicycle repair
  • Ensure everyone feels welcomed at the Bike Cage
