At Wheels for Winners, we strive to: -provide individuals an opportunity to earn bicycles while becoming responsible and active members of the community; -provide bicycles for those who could not normally afford them based on completed or a commitment to community service to earn these bicycles; -encourage greater community and family involvement in youth cycling; -promote an increased awareness of safety among youth; -educate youth in the repair, maintenance and safe use of bicycles; and -recycle used bicycles back into the community in a way that promotes positive community values. |
