The Milwaukee Bicycle Collective has been working towards this goal since June 17, 2002.
Services Offered
- Providing a safe and supportive environment for teaching bicycle repair and basic mechanic knowledge in order to instill new, valuable skills in the inner-city youth of our service area.
- Provide an affordable resource for access to bicycle transportation that is otherwise not available for inner-city Milwaukee residents.
- Encouraging environmentally-sustainable re-use of raw materials used in bicycle production that would otherwise end up as landfill waste.
- Encouraging the values of recycling and the benefits of re-purposing used material.
