SLO Bike Kitchen is ...

Our Bike Kitchen has all the parts, tools and knowledge you need to fix your bicycle! We can help you build a bike from the ground up, fix that junker you just found at the garage sale, or simply tune up your bicycle. Looking to buy a gently used, ready to ride bicycle? We sell them! We serve all types of people, and are committed to creating a safe space for everyone and have provided guided instruction to over 6,000 people since opening our doors in 2008.

History

Started by volunteers in a park in 2008, eventually the SLO Bike Kitchen was adopted and incorporated as a program of the nonprofit Bike SLO County, which aside from operating the Bike Kitchen does bike advocacy and education throughout San Luis Obispo county.

Services Offered

Hours: Noon - 5 P Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday WTF (Women, Trans, Femme) Night: 1st Wednesday 6 - 8:30 PM Women's Night: 2nd, 3rd, 4th Wednesday 6 - 8:30 PM

Our Ridewell program provides bicycles, helmets, locks, lights and bike education at no cost to SLO County residents in need. Apply at https://bikeslocounty.org/programs/ridewell/
