Our shop is open on Monday and Thursday nights from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A volunteer mechanic is available to assist you with any needs concerning your bike.
 
Work costs $5 per hour, or you can become a member for $80 per year.
 
Any and all parts are $5. We also have a limited selection of bike frames, starting at $25.

Individuals who participate in this program take steps to learn basic bike mechanic skills and in the end have built a bike of their own to take home! Funding is a major issue with this goal. If you are interested in donating time or money for this project, email anna@bicicoop.org.

Bici support the idea that children should have the option to safely walk or ride their bikes to school.  We intend to lobby schools and government to make this hope a reality for residents of Birmingham city.

Services Offered

Open Shop

Our shop is open on Monday and Thursday nights from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A volunteer mechanic is available to assist you with any needs concerning your bike.

Work costs $5 per hour, or you can become a member for $80 per year.
