Bicycle workshops are often oriented toward teaching participants about bicycle components, mechanics, maintenance, repair and safety. Some bike shops have occasional workshops or a regular series of workshops that cover many topics related to bicycles, such as bicycle law and safety, basic introduction to bicycling and commuting and more advanced mechanics and repair/replacement of specific components.
