Mission

We are a community based bicycle company in the heart of Ealing. We offer maintenance courses, second hand bikes, cycle instruction and a host of other services. We’re mobile and offer on-site training, maintenance and bicycle for both private, community, educational or corporate entities.

We also sell second bikes and accept donations for recycling. Donated bikes are usually worked on by volunteers from our projects including homeless, summer activities on estates etc. Bikes that are beyond repair are recycled for parts or into other items such artistic creations, garden items and a host of other products.

History

Started by the Ealing Cycling Campaign, a branch of the London Cycling Campaign, in 2010. The driver was David Eales, who also works as a cycle trainer. The location in Greenford is centrally located in Ealing, away from major commercial or more affluent residential centres. Workshop training is offered, unclaimed and donated bikes can be rebuilt, and courses offered for the uninitiated. A series of government and charitable grants have allowed the Hub to conduct traingin and bike workshops in several local council estates and schools.
