The Bike Connector
The Bike Connector is a non-profit, volunteer-run, community-based program that offers a “Do It Together” bike repair workshop, affordable bicycles, and hands-on educational programming. We collaborate with community partners to distribute and maintain bikes in greater Lowell.
Growing from a youth Earn-a-Bike program The Bike Connector is expanding to meet the transportation, recreation and fitness needs of the Lowell community.
Services Offered:
Provide affordable recycled bicycles, new and used parts, repair and maintenance classes, and Do-it-Together repair services. Distribute donated bikes in collaboration with schools and community organizations. Offer Earn-a-Bike, bike safety, and community ride programs. Collect bicycles in any condition and make them useable again.
