Swag or merch refers to promotional items that can be sold or given away by community bicycle organizations.

Some ideas for swag include

Chain keychains - a small section of bike chain looped and hooked into a key ring (or with key rings at either end) can be made easily by volunteers
T-shirts - your artistically talented volunteers can mass produce t-shirts by Screen Printing
Buttons - a cheap and popular promotional item
Cassette bottle openers - turn an old cassette into a new bottle opener [1]
