Workshop manager and founder at Gloucestershire Bike Project CIC, a not for profit bike reuse social enterprise. We have been running for 5 years and have brought 1000s of bike back into use. Offering low costs cycles of all shapes and sizes. We rely on donations of unwanted bikes from the local community and are always happy to collect bikes from anywhere in Gloucestershire. We run various workshops throughout the year for both young people and adults where they can build a bike or just learn how to maintain their own bike. We offer servicing and repairs and attend a number of community events each year where we safety check and tune up peoples bikes for free. Volunteers with an interest in bikes and bike mechanics are always welcome.
