I have been Corporate Secretary and Board Member of the Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange since its birth as an independent non-profit (2014).

I volunteer as a bicycle mechanic with Repair Cafe Mountain View, California.

At Burning Man I repair bicycles as part of the Nosefish theme camp.

For many years I commuted by bicycle to work, a distance of up to 35 miles each way.

In 2012 I captained a Bike to Work Day Energizer Station at the corner of North First Street and East Brokaw Road in San Jose.
