John Raser Bio for Trailhead Collective:

John Raser is an avid cyclist and advocate for healthy, sustainable communities who lives and works in St Johnsbury, VT. He currently chairs the town bicycle-pedestrian committee and formerly served on the town planning board. In his former community of Lawrence, MA he co-founded a social venture bike shop with the regional YMCA and helped lead a Safe Routes to School project that led to a $2M investment in pedestrian and cycling infrastructure around his neighborhood school. He has served as an adviser to the Healthy Neighborhood Equity Fund and Groundwork Lawrence. When not pedaling around town on his cargo bike with his wife and 3 kids, John is a family physician at St Johnsbury Community Health Center. He has been teaching family medicine and community health to medical students and resident doctors since 2009.
