eug's feelings

I've noticed that there are a lot of half-written and defunct articles on bike repair on this wiki.
I don't think the internet really needs another resource on how to fix a bike, and really
doesn't need a watered down version of that, either.
I think some of the articles aim to be used at specific coops and rad orgs. If that's the case,
see how I've added a slash to the end of my user talk page to create a specific talk page
that is mine related to repair articles.
Example:
Neighborhood_Bike_Works/Hubs could read about the procedure for NBW to deal with
Hubs from stripping the bike and wheel of the useful parts to storage to sales / earns.
Alternatively, we could agree as a wiki community to delete all of these defunct articles
and create articles that detail and explain how repair is different in various ways from
standard IE: why you would totally add "Vee" brake pads to cheap calipers to increase
stopping power on the cheap.

your feelings here

I say go for it! If it bothers someone, they can revert the changes. But I don't think you're going to get much feedback either way, and as long as there aren't a bunch of dead links and it makes the wiki tidier, it probably won't hurt much.

I think it would be a good thing to have a wiki that limits its scope on these things to as they relate to community bike shops (with possibly links to outside resources if someone wants to compile one)
